Florentines has evolved to become a mouth-watering delicacy. It is widely believed that the Florentine biscuit originated in Florence, Italy, simply because that is what its name suggests. However, this mouth-watering delicacy was actually made famous in France, during the reign of King Louie XII during 1462-1515 (or so the legend tells us).
